Kathryn Kolb Photographs
	Kathryn Kolb Photographs is the first major publication of the work of photographer Kathryn Kolb. This coffee-table style monograph features over 60 of her finest color and black & white images from a body of work spanning the last decade, including many of the images featured on this website. All of Kolb's photographs are of natural landscapes and landscapes' details taken with a Hasselblad 2 1/4 square format camera using traditional films and enlarger processes. All images are straightforward shots as they appeared in the viewfinder — Kolb uses no digital or other manipulations for image capture or in the darkroom. Image locations range from remote wilderness areas, many from the southeastern US, to Kolb's own backyard and the environs of her neighborhood in Atlanta, GA. Kathryn Kolb Photographs includes introductory essays by internationally celebrated nature photographer Robert Glenn Ketchum, by Jerry Cullum, art critic and Senior Editor of Art Papers magazine, and statements by the artist herself.
